Lets do it the Common Sense Way

Now we all know that there are all sorts of bumps and squeaks out there and for all I know you might be one of them! But lets assume that you’re not and that you are fairly normal. By normal, I mean that you will behave in an acceptable way. Oh sheesh, by acceptable, I mean that you will behave in a way that is considered normal and acceptable to a majority of people. Of course, if you are not ‘normal’ you are still welcome

Privacy

In return I do hereby solemnly swear not to do anything dumb with your private information. Private information like the odd cookie or your email address if you sign up for something here. That means that I won’t spam you or lend or sell your stuff….OK?

In return I would appreciate it if you didn’t do anything dumb either! That means don’t spam me or use my comments for overly promotional stuff. It also might be wise not to put too much personal information into public areas of the site like the comments, so don’t put your physical address or your sisters phone number (unless she is hot of course…….)

Because, like I say there are all sorts of……odd, people out there and I want everyone who visits and uses this site to be safe.

Regarding comments, you need to understand that they may be published on the site. If you want a private word, please use the contact me page and send me an email.

External links, there are a few. I obviously cannot be responsible for what happens to you once you leave this site (and why would you want to leave…..huh!) so be careful.

You are also welcome, (in fact I might buy you a beer if you do!) to link to this site in any way you see fit!

You should also know how this site makes money. Sometimes, I talk about stuff that other people can supply and so I link to their site. Sometimes they will pay a tiny, tiny commission for that. Sometimes I recommend books and other stuff that can be purchased in association with Amazon.co.uk, which is cool, they are a smart company and they pay me a little commission too.

I am in bed with Google

It’s true, I am sorry, but I am in bed with Google; although so far, its been a pretty one way relationship! This also means that I get a few pennies if you click on one of the adverts on this site. (Whoo Hoo!)

Regarding the content on the site…well, I do my best, but it is still mostly my opinion based on my experiences and nothing in life is 100% so be aware of that.

I want you to be safe and not missing any body parts at all, no matter how small. Whilst the opinions expressed on this site are from an experienced professional, because I don’t know how capable you are, no responsibility can be taken for any actions subsequently taken by you. When I talk about power tools etc, you need to be aware of the dangers involved in using such power tools and take the appropriate safety steps. There are no substitutes for training, common sense and experience. Always wear suitable Personal Safety Equipment and seek professional help if unsure.
